Join Melanie and Lisa for a meditation and gong bath of relaxation, rejuvenation and healing. Start with meditation and gong bath with Melanie, tuned into the planet Chiron. The Chiron gong is also referred to as the ‘Wounded Healer’ after the Centaur and his arduous, emotional and physical journey to seek healing. We end the session with tea inspired by nature. Did you know that regular meditation practice changes the structure of your brain? Research has shown it to affect the areas of your brain, such as the amygdala, medial prefrontal cortex and the posterior cingulate cortex, helping to relieve stress — as well as manage anxiety, reduce inflammation, and improve memory and attention. Gong baths are highly rejuvenating for the body and bring about an overall sense of relaxation, which can reduce stress as well as help develop a better ability to cope with stress and even stimulate altered states of consciousness
