- **Event Description**: Join us for this Site Visit to the Emergency Department and Critical Care Unit of Dorset County Hospital.About this EventThe Project:Tilbury Douglas are proud to be completing the new Emergency Department (ED) and Critical Care Unit (CrCU) at Dorset County Hospital.Funded by the New Hospital Programme and procured through the ProCure22 framework, the project will provide two floors of clinical space, including a dedicated paediatrics area, 24 critical care beds, a mental health facility and an ambulance arrivals and fast assessment area. A link corridor will connect the new building to the existing hospital and a £2million rooftop helipad is being funded by the HELP Appeal charity.After completing the enabling works and beginning the main construction phase in June 2025.
