- **Event Description**: On Advent Sunday, join myself and accompanist Laurie Sandford as we begin the countdown to the most wonderful time of the year through some of the sublimest and thrilling repertoire.

To set the scene I will be performing the organ music of great master JS Bach, such as Nun Komm, der Heiden Heilland BWV659 and In Dulci Jubilo, Pietro Yon's Sublime Pastorale on Gesu Bambino, Howard Blake's Walking in the Air and Purvis's Prelude on Greensleeves as well as swing takes on seasonal piano music arranged by Dan Coates and others.  Then, I'll be breaking out my flute with some jazzy arrangements of our favourite carols accompanied by the talented Laurie Sandford - perfectly suited to the generous acoustic of St Mary's Church, Edward Road, Dorchester.

Entry is by a suggested donation of £10 as I raise money to take my Associate of the Royal College of Organist diploma and refreshments will be provided!  See you there!
