6 Week Adult Functional Pottery Course

During this course you will learn a range of hand building and surface decoration techniques. In this 6 week course creations will include mugs, plates and a butter dish.

Each week will have a project covering a variety of skills that can be interpreted in your own personal style. Pieces will be kiln fired and ready for collection 2-3 weeks later. This course is suitable for beginners and those with some pottery experience.


A bit about your tutor - Deborah Clarke completed a degree in Ceramics at Bath Spa University College in 1999. She has over 25 years experience working with clay and has exhibited in London and across the South West.


Course commences from 9.30am to 11.30am. Course dates are Thursdays 11th, 18th, 25th September and, 2nd, 9th, 16th October at Dorset Craft Workshops, 3 The Mews, Durngate Street, Dorchester..
