Through keynote presentations, practice-focused discussions and interactive learning opportunities, delegates will gain a deeper understanding of the impact of neglect, current challenges facing families, and effective approaches to identification, assessment and intervention.Our keynote speaker is Andrew (Andi) Brierley of Leeds Trinity University and founder of Rights4Children. He will be talking to us about 'breaking the cycle' based on his lived experiences of neglect, addiction, CCE and childhood incarceration. Topics will include the relationship between neglect and poverty, educational neglect, dental neglect, trauma-informed practice, and the tools and resources available to support practitioners in their work with children, young people and families.This event is designed for practitioners, managers and leaders from all sectors who work with children, young people and families.
