A short drive from Lusk, it's a peaceful mix of woodland and open terrain along the Rogerstown Estuary, home to swans, ducks, geese, waders, and raptors. There are two loop trails available — a longer 4.5km loop (around 1–1.5 hours) and a shorter 1.8km option — both easy, flat, and suitable for all ages and fitness levels.Here's the spirit of the afternoon: come as you are and join in however suits you.If you're into photography, bring your camera, phone, or whatever you shoot with — share tips, compare shots, and enjoy the light together. May evenings give us a later sunset, so there's plenty of time to make the most of the golden hour.If you're not into photography at all, that's absolutely fine — come for the fresh air, the good company, and a nice walk in a beautiful location.Families are very welcome. Bring the kids, bring the dog (please note: dogs must be kept on leads at Turvey to protect wildlife), bring a friend or a neighbour. The more the merrier!We'll gather at the entrance and go from there.
