Throwing Tall Workshop

Ready to reach new heights on the wheel? Spend the day at Adamah learning techniques to throw taller, stronger, and more confident forms. In this focused one-day workshop, you’ll explore how to center larger amounts of clay, pull consistent walls, and maintain control and stability as your forms grow in height.

Through demonstrations and hands-on practice, the instructor will guide you in refining your throwing posture, hand positioning, and timing to help you work more efficiently and with intention. You’ll also learn strategies for stacking thrown sections to create even taller pieces — perfect for vases, pitchers, and statement forms.

All clay and basic tools are provided, and bisque firing is included. Join us for a day of growth, exploration, and a little friendly challenge as you push your throwing skills to the next level at Adamah Art Studios!
