# Event Details

- **Event Name**: Class: Herbal First Aid
- **Event Start and End Date**: Sun, 08 Nov, 2026 at 12:00 pm (-06:00)
- **Event Description**: In this 2.5 hr class you will be introduced to a variety of herbal or natural based products that you will learn about making at home, or purchase from reliable sources. Claudia will cover a wide range of useful items; how to make and create some of them yourselves, and assemble a versatile home or travel first aid kit.

This is NOT a first aid class, but rather a chance to learn about various preparations that are worthy of being in a first aid kit or cupboard! We will make a healing ointment in the class, learn basics about making teas, be introduced to useful homeopathic items, and meet some crisis/support remedies made from flower essences.

Come explore new ways to be prepared alongside the common sense items that you may have already in place in your home/ travel kits.

At the time of the class, you will be able to order a number of products that you may want to include in your kits, at a great discount. Payment before order is placed is necessary.

Class handout included.

Tickets for this class are $40 and must be purchased by Wednesday, November 4. This class will only take place if at least 6 people are registered. Refunds will be given for cancelations made by email (merrimacmain@gmail.com) at least one month in advance -- by October 8. We do this to protect the instructor from eating any costs of supplies purchased for the class. If you prefer to skip the paypal fees, please email Rachel at merrimacmain@gmail.com and drop off cash or check by Wednesday, November 4. Tickets are first-come, first-served!
