We will focus on foraging basics, foraging safety, identifying plants, and preparing wild edibles. We will also learn about how to keep time in nature using the plants around us as our calendar. Participants will receive a phenology calendar to assist with this activity. We will then take a hike outdoors to identify and forage some of the seasonal wild edibles available during this time. Program fee of $2/person for supplies payable at registration. Online registration is required.
