She performed in jazz band through junior and senior high school, and served as the principal pianist for the Dakota Jazz Big Band in Fargo, ND, from 2021-2025. Starting in 2021, she has been featured as the annual holiday piano performer for West Acres Mall.Kari's early performance career began as a solo singer & songwriter, playing in the Minneapolis circuit from 2006-2009 and in Fargo regularly since 2012.
