The Kicks Band of Fargo Moorhead educates, performs, and promotes America’s original art form: jazz. Sharing the Joy of Jazz through education and performance.
The Kicks Band is supported by operating support from The Arts Partnership, funded by The Arts Partnership, and supported by the Cities of Fargo, Moorhead, and West Fargo. - This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through operating support grants from Lake Region Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage fund.
This Jazz Extravaganza features seven premier regional ensembles and a total of 120 musicians performing 30-minute sets. The afternoon will showcase a diverse range of styles, including vocal and instrumental jazz, funk, Latin, rock, and blues.
Attendees will experience performances by a wide spectrum of talent, ranging from emerging student musicians to seasoned professionals.
