Join us every Thursday in February at Vue Dillon for Best Buddies Community Night, where 5% of food sales will be donated to support Best Buddies at Summit Elementary School.
Best Buddies is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to fostering authentic friendships for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Summit Elementary School chapter works directly with students to promote friendship skills, social confidence, and meaningful relationships between students with disabilities and their neurotypical peers.
Through structured activities, mentorship, and peer-to-peer connections, students learn empathy, acceptance, and leadership — helping create a school culture rooted in equity and belonging.
Students with disabilities are among the most socially isolated in schools nationwide, often facing stigma, exclusion, and limited opportunities to form meaningful friendships. Programs like Best Buddies help build connection, confidence, and long-term social-emotional growth.
Funds raised will support:
Best Buddies field trips
Program and activity costs
BOEC adaptive skiing experiences for Best Buddy partners
Each month, Vue Dillon highlights a different local nonprofit — and every Thursday in February, your meal helps make a meaningful impact.
