It recreates the flax harvest of the 1950's in the North of Ireland. It follows a team of local men who plant a field of flax as their fathers would have done a generation before.You'll see the process from growing to being spun into yarn, and finally being made into a piece of Irish Linen woven from the field of flax.We aim to open a dialogue about sustainable fibres and sustainable fashion, and whether we need to return to older materials and techniques for a more sustainable future.The Junction is wheelchair accessible via a ramp and has accessible bathrooms inside.
