Finding Faith in Literature Book Club

Mission Statement:

Finding Faith in Literature Book Club is dedicated to exploring the timeless truths and profound insights that can be found in the universal themes of both classic and modern literature.

Our mission is to foster a community where members can contemplate ideas and increase their understanding of differing perspectives through the rich narratives and moral complexities of literary works from the past as well the present. We believe that by engaging with enduring stories from the past and exemplary stories from the present, we can uncover universal themes that resonate with our spiritual journeys and aid our personal growth.

We aim to:

Cultivate a love for classic literature by reading and discussing works that have stood the test of time.

Encourage thoughtful dialogue that connects literary themes from various perspectives and across generations.

Build a supportive community where diverse viewpoints are respected and valued.

Challenge our worldviews by reading contrastive literature with complex characters.

Explore moral and ethical questions posed by classic texts.
