The Card is the second of two required sessions in the Tile Series at Southern Tile Society. In 120 minutes, you’ll learn to read the NMJL card, decode the color and notation system, build a complete hand with real tiles, and play your first mini-round — all before you leave the room.

Prerequisite: Foundations (Session 1) required.

What to know:
• A 2026 NMJL card is required for this session. Cards are available to add on at registration or at class ($15 standard · $16 large print). 
• Space is limited to 8 students per session.
