🕯️ The Sorrowful Procession – Let Us Prepare Our Hearts for Holy Week 🕯️
Dear Parish Family,
As we draw near to Holy Week, we invite you to enter more deeply into the mystery of Christ’s Passion through The Sorrowful Procession at Shrine of the True Cross.
This year, we are especially blessed to welcome a visiting statue of Christ the Divine Prisoner, who will be carried in procession alongside His Sorrowful Mother. To walk behind the Divine Prisoner is to walk with Christ in His humiliation, His silence, His surrender. To walk with Our Lady of Sorrows is to learn how to suffer with faith, dignity, and love.
🗓 Saturday, March 28
📍 Main Chapel
⏰ 6:00 PM
Schedule:
6:00 PM – Chaplet of the 7 Sorrows
6:20 PM – Candlelight Procession Begins

Every participant will carry a candle as a sign that even in sorrow, Christ is our light.
🖤 Black attire is strongly encouraged as a sign of reverence and unity.
Come with your family. Bring your children. Let us teach them how to walk with Jesus and His Mother.
