This MTB ride is the more technical and faster version of our Sunday morning social ride and is NOT available to Foundation-level or beginner riders.

Starting from The Tank in Goldsworthy Lane means we can head south, head north or mix it up on the mid-Gorge trails.
.
A good light / battery set-up is needed - ideally, a light on your helmet and one on your handle bar.
.
We’ll have an experienced local rider leading, and another at the rear of the group to ensure no-one gets lost.
.
Arrive 6:30pm for a 6:45 pm departure, typically returning about 9:15pm but it could be later depending on the ride leader's energy levels and/or their masochistic personality in deciding to ride up very obvious downhill tracks...

Mountain biking, like most active sports, carries with it an inherent risk that you acknowledge when participating in this event.

You are encouraged to become an AusCycling Member with the Plenty Gorge MTB Club, which gives you Third Party Liability Insurance as well as Personal Accident Insurance coverage.
