# Event Details - **Event Name**: *Christmas Special* PGMTB Club TNR... from Uni Hill into the Gorge! - **Event Start and End Date**: Tue, 16 Dec, 2025 at 08:45 am – Tue, 16 Dec, 2025 at 10:00 am - **Event Description**: *Christmas Special* Tuesday Night Ride, from Uni Hill into the Gorge & back for dinner & drinks! . Our final TNR for the 2025 sees us gathering at the car park behind One Fusion Sports Bar & Restaurant @ 6:30pm for a 6:45pm departure into the southern end of the Plenty Gorge. . This ride will only be for about an hour before returning to celebrate our year of rides at One Fusion, with a meal & drinks amongst fellow riders. . We'll also repeat our 'Secret Santa' present swapping that was a highlight of last year's festivities! . Have a look through your spare parts bin and/or workshop tool box and select an appropriate gift (no crap!) - wrap it up and we'll place into a Xmas basket. . You can select a gift, unwrap and if you don't like/want it, swapit with someone else's gift! . Lots of laughs! . RSVP to this post or DM the Club or email the Club so we can manage numbers... . PGMTB Club Tuesday night social ride is for those riders who deem themselves intermediate skill level / fitness and above… . This MTB ride is the more technical and faster version of our Sunday morning social ride and is NOT available to Foundation-level or beginner riders. . In saying that, the Queens Gardens ride should be considered for your 1st night ride with the group given the ‘easier’ types of trails in the south end of the Gorge. . Although daylight savings is here, you'll still need a good light / battery set-up for the latter part of the ride - ideally, one light on your helmet and another on your handle bar. . We’ll have an experienced local rider leading, sometimes with a plan laid out on an EXCEL spreadsheet with coloured cells which kinda looks cool, and at other times just making a decision whether to turn right, left or continue straight on a whim, whilst another (normally a more responsible person) stays at the rear of the group to ensure no-one gets lost. . Arrive 6:30pm for a 6:45 pm departure, typically returning around 09:15pm. . Mountain biking, like most active sports, carries with it an inherent risk that you acknowledge when participating in this event. .
