As the demand for intelligent visual systems continues to rise, understanding the fundamentals of computer vision has become increasingly valuable for aspiring engineers and technology enthusiasts. The workshop will be conducted by Ms. Reeshoon Sayera, a lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at North South University and an MSc graduate in computer science from the University of Central Florida, specializing in computer vision. Prior to joining academia, she worked as an AI engineer at Intelligent Machines, where she contributed to the development and deployment of AI-driven solutions for retail marketing, counterfeit detection, and credit risk analytics.

During this interactive workshop, participants will gain an introduction to the fundamentals of computer vision, image processing techniques, object detection, and real-world applications of visual intelligence systems.
