Rapid urbanization, population growth, and changing consumption patterns have significantly increased the volume and diversity of municipal solid waste (MSW) in Bangladesh. Effective management of MSW is crucial to protect public health and the environment. However, growing complexities such as plastics, e-waste, medical, and hazardous waste present new challenges.
This 3-day in-person training aims to strengthen participantsâ knowledge and technical capacity on MSWM by exploring policies, planning, technologies, stakeholder engagement, and sustainable resource-efficient practices.
