Are you passionate about environmental sustainability and eager to make a tangible impact? The Department of Environmental, Water Resources, and Coastal Engineering (EWCE) at the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) invites all undergraduate students across Bangladesh to participate in the MIST Environment Fest 2025, scheduled for May 29, 2025.
This year's fest features two exciting competitions:
🖼️ Poster Presentation: *Sustainable Solutions to Beat Plastic Pollution*
Objective: Raise awareness about environmental issues, encourage creative expression, and inspire sustainable action through informative and visually engaging displays.
Who Can Participate: Undergraduate university students of Bangladesh; teams of up to 3 members or individuals.

🗺️ GIS Case Competition: *Analyzing Pollution in the Buriganga River*
Objective: Utilize analytical and mapping skills using Geographic Information System (GIS) tools to analyze pollution in the Buriganga River and propose innovative, realistic, and economically viable mitigation measures.
Who Can Participate: Undergraduate university students of Bangladesh; teams of up to 3 members or individuals.
