The Fibonacci International Robot & STEM Olympiad 2026 - Bangladesh National Round (FIRSO 2026) is a one-day national competition and innovation experience for students from Class 1 through university level. It brings together academic Olympiads, autonomous robotics, robot sports, drone technology, startup ideas and project innovation in one focused event.

The Bangladesh National Round is jointly organized by Fibonacci Olympiads Bangladesh and the General Science Olympiad (GSO). United International University (UIU) is the Venue Partner, and UIU Robotics Club is the Event Partner.

Fibonacci International has operated an international competition platform since 2018, connecting young participants from more than 30 countries. Qualified national-round participants may earn the opportunity to represent Bangladesh at the international championship in Rome, Italy.

Teams must build an autonomous robot capable of detecting and following a black line on a white track while completing the course as quickly and accurately as possible.

Two autonomous robots compete inside a circular ring. The objective is to push the opponent out of the ring, overturn it or render it unable to continue.

? 5. Drone Rally Racing

Pilots must guide a drone through the designated course, pass all gates in the correct order and complete as many valid laps as possible.

⚙️ Course and Competition Rules
? Competition field: approximately 4 x 2 metres
? The drone must follow the marked route and pass every gate correctly
? Each team receives three official rounds
? The best valid lap count from the three rounds becomes the final score
⚡ Pilots receive 30 seconds of preparation time before take-off
? One 2-minute test flight may be allowed before official rounds
⚡ One 3-minute technical timeout may be used before the flight begins
⚠️ Touching the ground, gates or barriers results in a penalty
? If the drone crashes, restarting may be allowed from the crash location
⚠️ Losing parts during flight ends the round
