Event Details Event Name: “EXPOSURE” — HPC Photography Festival 2025 Organized by: HPC Photographic Society, Hamdard Public College Venue: Hamdard Public College Campus Event Duration: 1 Day (Includes Exhibition & Award Ceremony) Target Participants: Students of Classes 9–10 (Secondary Level) Purpose and Vision The festival aims to: Encourage young photographers to think beyond the frame and explore photography as a medium of creative storytelling. Provide a platform for collaboration and artistic exchange among students from different schools. Cultivate a spirit of innovation and critical thinking through the art of visual composition. Recognize and reward exceptional creativity, technique, and originality in visual expression. By fostering artistic engagement, the HPC Photographic Society envisions a generation of youth who see the world not just as it is—but as it could be. —————————————————————————————— Competition Categories 1️⃣ Mobile Photography Theme: Open Requirements: • All photos must be captured using a mobile device. • Submissions must be in JPEG format. • Basic editing such as color correction, contrast adjustment, or cropping is permitted. • Excessive manipulation or addition of external elements will result in disqualification. • Participants must include a Concept Note, briefly describing the inspiration and message behind the artwork. 2️⃣ DSLR Photography Theme: Open Requirements: • Photographs must be taken with a DSLR or mirrorless camera. • RAW editing is permitted, but over-manipulated images will lead to disqualification. • Submissions must be in JPEG format. • Each participant must submit a Concept Note articulating the artistic intent and visual message of their work. 3️⃣ Cinematography (Short Video) Theme: Open Requirements: • Video Duration: Minimum 1 minutes • Resolution: 720p or higher • Can be filmed using mobile devices, DSLR cameras, or any professional camera. • Original background music or voiceover is allowed. • File format: MP4 • A Concept Note (maximum 50 words) must accompany the submission, outlining the creative idea or story behind the video. 4️⃣ Poster Designing Theme: “Moments in Motion” Requirements: • The theme is open to creative interpretation. • Must be submitted in A4 digital format (JPEG/PNG). • Posters should visually represent the essence of motion, storytelling, or photography. • Each submission must include a Concept Note describing the inspiration and concept behind the design. 5️⃣ Digital Art Theme: Open Requirements: • Submit artwork in A4 size (JPEG/PNG format). • Participants are free to explore any concept, style, or digital medium. • A Concept Note must be provided to express the idea and artistic intention. —————————————————————————————— Awards & Recognition To honor exceptional creativity and technical mastery, winners in 3 category will receive: DSLR Photography Mobile Photography Cinematography ? 1st Prize: ৳1500 + Crest + Certificate ? 2nd Prize: ৳1000 + Crest + Certificate ? 3rd Prize: ৳500 + Crest + Certificate All participants will receive Certificates of Participation, acknowledging their dedication, creativity, and contribution to the festival. —————————————————————————————— Important Note Registration Link: https://forms.gle/FNi77qY9MiLRQpAL6 Submission Deadline: 30 November 2025, 10:00 PM Late submissions will not be accepted.
