The Dhaka 25K run is a long distance running footrace that is between the distance of a half marathon and a marathon to save the ecosystem of Dhaka city. The event tagline is "Save Dhaka . Stop Pollution".

The event going to happen on Friday, 14 July 2023! ?

Held in and around the Hatirjheel area, the scenic route takes runners past some of the capital’s most iconic landmarks and historic buildings. The #DHAKA25K consists of a 25 km, a 10 km and a 2.8 km - Kids Run (Age 10-16).

Dhaka is the capital and largest city of Bangladesh. With its colorful history and rich cultural traditions, Dhaka is known the world over as the city of mosques and muslin. Its fame attracted travelers from far and near throughout the ages. Today it has grown into a mega city of about 23 million people, with an area of about 1,464 km² becoming the hub of the nation's industrial, commercial, cultural, educational and political activities.

The primary goal of this event is to raise public awareness of city pollution. Dhaka has a high density of people. Dhaka has been named the most polluted city on the most recent list of cities with the worst air quality in the world. We want our event to have a beneficial environmental influence on the city.

With a distance that is longer than a half marathon, the 25K challenges you to push your body and mind beyond their limits. Dhaka 25K has provided a forum for both professional and amateur distance runners to compete, shine, and qualify for other authorized races.

The marathon is the perfect place for enthusiastic runners and fitness freaks. As a result, Dhaka 25K's principal goal is to create the marathon Bangladesh's fastest-growing sport. It will have a significant influence on the marathon events. We strongly believe in dedication and hard effort to make the event spectacular.

We are all set to find those hidden talents and provide a healthy sports environment in our country. We are ready to race, achieve and move forward.
