Have an idea? Build it the way real production systems are built. DevSprint is here, a hands-on intra-IUT hackathon designed for developers who want to move beyond simply making applications work and start engineering systems that can operate reliably in real environments.

The focus is on DevOps practices and Microservices architecture, the backbone of modern scalable software. You will design services, automate deployments, manage failures and demonstrate that your system can run outside your local machine.

A real world problem statement will be released and your objective will be to architect, implement and operate a distributed solution covering pipelines, containers, observability, scalability and resilience. DevSprint is an opportunity to explore new tools, strengthen system level thinking and showcase engineering decision making.

Registration Opens: 19 February 2026
Problem Statement Release: 23 February 2026
Submission Deadline: 02 March 2026

Team Size:
1 to 3 members. Individual participation is allowed.

Technology Stack:
No restrictions. Any programming language, framework or infrastructure may be used. Evaluation will be focused on the engineering approach, not specific technologies.

DevSprint is not focused on coding speed. The objective is to encourage thoughtful system design, responsible implementation and a deeper understanding of how software operates in real environments.
