𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐨, 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞, 𝐒, 𝐇𝐒

Thinking of a test to apply your practical knowledge in mathematics to natural sciences? We can assure you, this signature segment of ours is the best fit for you. The questions may require specific knowledge about topics in Physics (especially Mechanics), Chemistry, Biology and Astronomy. The more unpredictable it gets, the more exciting the questions appear. If you're a science enthusiast visiting this fest, you mustn't miss this. Strengthen your basics in the mentioned subjects, seek mathematical insights and check previous year questions to get prepared.

𝟒. 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐬
𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐨, 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞, 𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞+𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞, 𝟐 𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐬, 𝐒, 𝐇𝐒

Depth of knowledge, structural thinking, fast calculation- what if all of these were put to a test? And not just you looking at the question paper, but in front of the huge audience of 6th NMF? This is what MathCounts brings you. An online selection round taking place at our very own portal and finally a prestigious stage round. Once you're there, you'll be facing several opponents in a buzzer round. Be the fastest one to answer correctly and the award is yours. Look out for the tricky traps among the seemingly simple problems of this segment.

𝟓. 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐜-𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐭
𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐨, 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞, 𝐒, 𝐇𝐒

If you're the man cherishing your passion for calculus and graphical interpretation of functions for a long time, then this is your place. Be accurate while plotting graphs or extracting information from it. Partial points will be there to reward you throughout the journey. At the same time, showcase your brilliance in the problems involving derivatives, continuity, integrands, differential equations and more calculus stuff! Theoretical clarifications will be given in the paper if necessary. This segment expects you to be passionate about it, so be prepared for your expectations getting exceeded in the question paper.

𝟔. 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐮𝐦
𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐨, 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞, 𝐉, 𝐒, 𝐇𝐒

Are you the MathGeek who chooses the elegance of Combinatorics over the theoretical complexities of other topics during Olympiad prep? Then this exam is yours. It will provide you with unique problems requiring combinatorial finesse. Whether it's basic counting in daily life or complex algorithms in technologies, this field possesses limitless depth. The question paper will feature 5-6 find based problems and 1-2 proof-based problems. Look at the points and attempt wisely. The Combinatorics section of our Olympiad Handouts and previous year question might be really helpful.

𝟕. 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐞𝐞
𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐨, 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞, 𝟐 𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐬, 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐞-𝐎𝐟𝐟, 𝐇𝐒

3,2,1, integrate! Yes, this is the ultimate challenge to test your skills in integrating functions. The written round will contain comparatively easy problems but with time constraints. The stage round will feature an exclusive 1v1 face-off in front of a crowd of mathminds. Gear up your techniques, rewind the formulae and be confident while applying them. In this time and wit game, your slightest mistake gives the opponent the edge. Go through your academic syllabus and beyond, follow our handout and solve integrals from other popular Bees to get a good warmup.

𝟖. 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫
𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐨, 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥, 𝟐 𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐬, 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐞-𝐎𝐟𝐟, 𝐇𝐒

A math lover must aim to be the strongest player in his own battleground beside exploring other domains. And this segment does exactly that- it checks your mastery over your academic syllabus in a surprisingly unique style. Crafted by the institution's very own Math Department, all questions will be strictly based on the prescribed syllabus and will test your theoretical understanding meticulously. Contact the relevant teacher from your institution to represent your college and join us on the event day to battle with the most meritorious minds from the selected prestigious institutions of Bangladesh. The 1v1 face-off will continue till there is a single winner. Will your institution be the one to triumph?

𝟗. 𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐝𝐞
𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐨, 𝐏𝐮𝐳𝐳𝐥𝐞, 𝐒, 𝐇𝐒

Aren't you the one trying to decipher every code after getting your hands on them? No matter the language or type, a code-cracker's intuition always pushes him one step closer to the solution. This is the test to finally embrace some intriguing codes and cipher texts and get rid of those boring ones in real life. Remember, intuition without logic brings you nothing. Moreover, the next Enigma cracker might also be sitting beside you in this exam. So be sure to check out the previous year questions and gather other relevant knowledge from online resources.

𝟏𝟎. 𝐈𝐐 𝐎𝐥𝐲𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐚𝐝
𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐨, 𝐏𝐮𝐳𝐳𝐥𝐞, 𝐏, 𝐉

If you're confident enough to show your worth and prove yourself smarter than others, then go for this. If you aren't confident though, take this anyway. From text, diagram and pattern-based problems to numeric riddles and case-studies– this is the test of your IQ with an additional layer of sophistication. For a warmup, go through the previous year questions, look for IQ puzzles online and practice thinking out of the box. Who knows? You might be the one who beats everyone here.

𝟏𝟏. 𝐏𝐮𝐳𝐳𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐚
𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐨, 𝐏𝐮𝐳𝐳𝐥𝐞, 𝐏, 𝐉, 𝐒, 𝐇𝐒

Numbers, puzzles, rules- that's what you'll find here. If you're the man who spent a big chunk of time solving sudoku or clearing numbrix having nothing else to play, then this segment is your chance to shine. As you're probably familiar with such logic grid puzzles, expect the difficulty to be a bit higher and the twists to be bigger. This time, the rules might differ from your classic game and it's pen and paper! Be quick as time matters!

𝟏𝟐. 𝟑 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐫
𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐨, 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥, 𝐏, 𝐉, 𝐒, 𝐇𝐒

If you're that one math enthusiast who likes sharing his knowledge with others, builds intuition among the listeners and is quite different from the typical introverts, then this is your segment. Unlike regular extempore speech, you can present a topic on your own but the theme must relate to a concept of math and the delivery should be mathematical. Judges can assign a topic to you in the following rounds. Content, clarity, feasibility– no metric would go unnoticed. Your mathematical understanding and oratory skills are the key to win.

𝟏𝟑. 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐞𝐝-𝐜𝐮𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐠
𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐨, 𝐏𝐮𝐳𝐳𝐥𝐞, 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧

This is the battlefield of young speedcubers. Like every year, NMF brings you the chance to unleash your prowess in cubing in this arena of experienced cubers. The crowd is tight, the pressure is high, can you give it your best? Or even surpass it? Participants (have to/ don't need to) bring their cubes for the contest. Other necessary support will be given by the organizers. If you're willing to participate for the first time, what better place to do that than this?

A mysterious treasure, the winner's award and prize money are on the line. You along with your team will be hunting them down. This is the challenge where you'll be surrounded by many other hunters all with the same goal. You'll go through several rounds, solve intriguing problems, find clues and follow the trail to victory. From making sacrifices, taking gambles to engaging in pseudo fights, you won't notice when the game gets ruthlessly psychological. Clearing a level or puzzle unlocks the next stage/clue; failing to do so can result in elimination. Search thoroughly, make decisions wisely and save the last bit of your energy.

𝟏𝟓. 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐲
𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦, 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥, 𝐒, 𝐇𝐒

Searching for a team segment that puts your mathematical talents and teamwork to a real test? This is the best fit for you.
