Speaker Profile:

Muhammad Mubinul Kabir
Director General
(Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate), NBR

Mr. Muhammad Mubinul Kabir joined the Customs Service in 1995 as an Assistant Commissioner. He served different important offices under the National Board of Revenue (NBR) in different capacities, which include Custom House, Chittagong, Custom House, Dhaka, National Board of Revenue, Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate, Central Intelligence Cell (CIC) of NBR. He joined Large Tax Payers Unit, VAT as the Commissioner on 9th August 2018. Prior to joining LTU-VAT, he was the Commissioner of Customs Bond Commissionerate, Chittagong & Custom House, Pangaon.

Mr. Kabir graduated in MSS in Economics from Islamic University, Bangladesh. He also obtained a Master of Public Finance degree from National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS), Tokyo, Japan. Mr. Kabir is an accredited trainer of VAT Online Project. He has been rendering professional training for long.
