𝟭. 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
The Development Case Competition is the signature event of DEVTHON 6.0— where innovation meets impact. Designed for undergraduate students, teams of 𝟯–𝟰 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 from any university will tackle real-world challenges. Cross-university participation is encouraged. The first round will be conducted online, and teams will receive a social case under a specific theme.

𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝗲:

The Development Career Expo connects passionate students with top development organizations, NGOs, research institutes, and international agencies. Through interactive booths, live Q&A sessions, mentorship opportunities, and direct CV submissions, participants can explore diverse career paths and take their first step toward real-world impact.
𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝗲: No registration fee is required to participate in this segment.
𝟯. 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸
DevTalk is a panel discussion platform for knowledge-seeking enthusiasts where undergraduate and graduate students can engage directly with real-life development practitioners. Through this event, students can learn about innovative initiatives, success stories, and future prospects from professional and practitioners. Distinguished professionals from various organizations share their experiences and insights, helping students broaden their understanding and build practical knowledge.
𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝗲: No registration fee is required to participate in this segment.
𝟰. 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗗𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 & 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗺 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
Lights. Camera. Development! This segment invites undergraduate or graduate students with an enthusiastic team of 3-4 members to produce a 3–5 minute short film or documentary that captures the spirit of development based on a predetermined theme.

𝟱. 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗖𝗦𝗗
Create. Inspire. Transform. The newest addition to DEVTHON 6.0 celebrates digital creativity through two sub-categories:
i) 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘁 (𝗣𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻): DevShot focuses on photography with storytelling — capturing the realities of development in action. It invites creative individuals to highlight pressing themes through the lens of a camera. By transforming powerful visuals into meaningful narratives, DevShot aims to foster awareness, provoke dialogue, and leave a lasting impression on viewers.
𝗦𝘂𝗯𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀:
-Submit a series of 3–5 photos that together tell a story (6”×4” ratio).
-Photos should be arranged in a sequence that conveys a clear idea, message, or emotion.
-Each entry must include a title and a caption/description (max 150 words) explaining the story.
-Photos must be original and taken by the participant.
-Orientation can be portrait or landscape, but keep it consistent for better framing.
-Acceptable formats: JPEG/JPG, high-resolution (minimum 1500px on the long side).
-No heavy watermarking or text overlays on photos.
𝗘𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆: College and Undergraduate Students
𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝗲:
𝗘𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗕𝗶𝗿𝗱: 160 BDT (12 October – 15 October)

ii) 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗧𝗼𝗼𝗻 (𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁): DevToon merges humor and creativity to present development-related issues in an engaging, relatable, and thought-provoking way. Participants will use comics to simplify complex topics related to the theme, making them accessible to wider audiences. Beyond entertainment, DevToon serves as a creative platform to highlight critical ideas through a format that resonates with today’s digital generation.
𝗦𝘂𝗯𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀:
-Submit 1–4 cartoons or comic strips (hand-drawn or digital).
-Format: JPEG/JPG, A4 size, landscape or portrait orientation, 300 DPI resolution.
