Eight decades after San Francisco turned a war-scarred world into a shared table, Bangladesh stands one year into its Rebirth, the July 2024 revolution that re-centered the people’s voice. Under the banner “80 years of UN and 1 year after the Rebirth of Bangladesh: Revitalizing the Democratic Resilience,” this moment binds global lessons to national renewal: institutions that listen, rights that endure, and a civic spirit that refuses to fade. It is a hinge year where multilateral wisdom meets local courage, and the work of democracy begins again.
The United Nations was born out of the ashes of the theatre of rage and chaos. The United Nations is more than just an institution rather it is the process that leads to protecting borders, connecting continents and inspiring generations. For the last eighty years, the UN has relentlessly worked to build peace, tackle hunger, advance human rights, and build a sustainable world.
From challenges of escalating conflicts, climate chaos, unethical technologies, and threats to the fabrication of technology, UN is ready to face the unknowns.
The event we will cover the key notes of the journey of United Nations in fostering peace, stability and equality around the world. Not only seminar, we will be organizing quiz competition on this occassion.
