From dominating national competitions to drawing footsteps from Wall Street to the Bangladesh Bank, from CERN scientists to leaders of multinational corporations, from the film industry to the world of academia, the Debating Club of the Laboratorians (D.C.L.) has always been more than just a club. It’s a legacy.
And now, after a historic pause, we are beyond proud to announce the 19th DCL Nationals 2025, the grand revival of the most prestigious Bangla debate tournament of the year.
Founded in 1993 as one of the first school-level debating clubs in Bangladesh, DCL has always been a pioneer in shaping the nation’s debating culture. This year’s tournament will mark a new chapter as we transition after a long break. With 60 of the country’s finest teams battling it out for glory, this will be an intense, fast-paced celebration of ideas, intellect, and oratory finesse.
