TJ Zindle ignites a fearless spark of alt-rock, blending spirited vocals, fiery guitars, and lyrics that draw listeners into the Buffalo, NY singer-songwriter’s emotive world. Across a dynamic catalog, Zindle shares stories of life, growth, and transformation.
In 1997, Zindle formed the scrappy rock quartet Last Conservative, releasing four albums and joining Goo Goo Dolls vocalist-bassist Robby Takac’s label, Good Charamel Records, from 2003 to 2007. From intimate clubs to major stages, the band connected with audiences nationwide.
Shaped by his early experiences with the band and Takac, Zindle refined his high-energy, heartfelt rock sound, which he brought to Michigan, performing from 2009 to 2025 as guitarist with his sister, Erin, in Erin Zindle & The Ragbirds.
While touring with The Ragbirds, Zindle released his debut solo album, Hold On With All Your Might, in 2017—a cascade of melodies alive with raw sentiment. In 2022, he followed with Now Let Go, an intimate reflection on personal and societal journeys, while simultaneously launching a side project, Starts With a Con.
In 2025, he returned to Buffalo to begin a new chapter with his band, TJ Zindle & The Sure Things, continuing to create music that blends storytelling with high-energy rock.
