Peter Madcat Ruth's C.A.R.Ma Quartet plays eclectic traditional and improvisational music. American, Roots Music, Blues, Folk Music, Jazz, and World Music are all part of the mix.

Peter Madcat Ruth is a Grammy Award-winning virtuoso harmonica player from Ann Arbor, Michigan. He has established an international reputation through his exhilarating, riveting virtuosity on the harmonica.

John Churchville is a Grammy Award-winning tabla drummer. He was the founding member of the award winning Indian fusion group, Sumkali.

Brennan Andes was a founding member of The Macpodz, and he has accompanied countless musicians from the region and beyond including Luke Winslow-King, George Bedard, Sumkali, The Ragbirds, Rootstand, Chris Bathgate, Jen Sygit, Seth Bernard, May Erlewine, Andy Adamson Quintet, Chris Good, Dick Siegel, The Tone Farmers, Vincent York, and The Pherotones.

Dan Ripke toured and performed with the rock-bluegrass quintet, Back Forty, for 15 years. After Back Forty, Dan took an exploratory dive into Indian music with the band, Sumkali.

This will be a live musical performance in my barn for a limited audience of 60 people. There is space on the south side of the barn for anyone who would prefer to dance and/or watch the show outdoors.

This is a ticketed event; if 60 are sold, there will be no walkups. Parking is via the driveway for Ruhlig's Country Market, one west of mine; watch for the parking czar for directions. Carpooling is encouraged. Gate opens at 7:30pm, music will start at 8:00pm. Please no tobacco products or animals. BYOB and a lawn or stadium chair.

Bathroom is inside my house; please remove your shoes to use it.
A contribution of $5 per car for parking will be requested at the show. Additional contributions for barn maintenance appreciated. 

Note that the intersection of Island Lake Rd. and Dexter-Chelsea Rd. just west of downtown Dexter will be closed most of this Summer for installation of a roundabout. If coming out from the east, find another route or follow detours.
