***** Seussical The Musical Synopsis:
Seussical is a fantastical, magical, musical extravaganza! The Cat in the Hat tells the story of Horton, an elephant who discovers a speck of dust that contains the Whos, including Jojo, a Who child sent off to military school for thinking too many "thinks." Horton faces a double challenge: not only must he protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, but he must guard an abandoned egg, left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger, kidnapping and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant.

The colorful characters transport us from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus to the invisible world of the Whos. Seussical is fun for the whole family!

***** Dr. Seuss's The Cat In The Hat Synopsis:

The Cat in the Hat play is a modern adaptation of Dr. Seuss's classic children's book. It tells the story of two children, Sally and her brother, who are stuck inside on a rainy day with nothing to do. Their mother is out, and they are bored. Suddenly, a tall, mischievous cat wearing a red and white striped hat appears, promising to entertain them with tricks and games. The Cat introduces two small, blue-haired creatures, Thing One and Thing Two, who cause even more trouble. The children are worried their mother will be angry when she comes home. Just in time, the Cat cleans up all the mess and leaves just before their mother walks through the door. It's a story about fun, rules, and making things right.

From the moment his tall, red-and-white-striped hat appears around the door, Sally and her brother know that The Cat in the Hat is the funniest, most mischievous cat that they have ever met. With the trickiest of tricks and the craziest of ideas, he is certainly loads of fun. He turns a rainy afternoon into an amazing adventure... but what will mum find when she gets home...?
