For thousands of years, people have gathered around fire on the shortest day of the year. This 20 June, that tradition comes to life at Spreyton Cider Co.

Seven of the hottest heavy metal bands will shake the orchard to its roots while The Orchard Man, our towering, handcrafted effigy, stands watch over the night. As the music reaches its peak, we light him up.

A powerful blaze against the Tasmanian winter sky, marking the solstice as it was always meant to be marked, with fire, sound, and people coming together in the dark.
