Star Ornament

Join us for a one day workshop to make a Star Ornament with Lynne Joly-Davis. Lynne Joly-Davis a local Metis artist. She has been mentored by Elder Joyce from Wabasca, Felice Gladue from Beaumont and other talented artists. She has experience in beadwork, sewing, hide moccasins and mittens, as well as, other Metis historical arts.

Did you know that many nations all over the world carry star world creation stories? Come listen to star stories and create you own fabric star ornament using only pins, a Styrofoam ball, ribbon, and assorted fabrics. There is NO SEWING involved!!! Only folding and pinning to create a small star quilt design.
