Dr. Montgomery's lecture will address the challenges of environmental justice work and climate activism at this political moment, framing it within a history of placekeeping by Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. Lunch and networking will begin at 12:00 PM, followed by the lecture and Q&A from 12:30–1:30 PM. You must register to have your lunch confirmed. Please email sustainabilityclinic@umich.edu if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions.? Location: UM Detroit Center, Dearborn Room? Parking: Free parking available at DSO structure located directly behind the UM Detroit Center. Visitors will need to take a ticket when entering into the structure.
