There are myriads of routes that you can choose from for your road trips from Detroit. You can choose to take a drive from the center of the city to Point Pelee National Park in Ontario. The 40-mile trip will last for an hour and along the way, you will get to see calming natural vistas. About 90 miles north of the city is another great destination, Frankenmuth, Michigan, a town influenced by Bavarian culture. The drive will take you one and a half hours, and if you do get tired and hungry after the drive, you can eat your fill in restaurants such as Zehnder’s or the Bavarian Inn Restaurant.
