Detroit, MI – The Preservation of Jazz Monday Night Music Series continues its acclaimed season of tributes with a heartfelt evening honoring the incomparable Phyllis Hyman. On Monday, December 15, 2025, audiences will gather at Aretha’s Jazz Café for “A Tribute to Phyllis Hyman” featuring the powerful vocals of Lady Vonne. Back by popular demand, this concert promises to capture the elegance, emotion, and timeless artistry of one of music’s most beloved icons.

Hosted by Sky Covington with co-host Mike Bonner, the evening will combine live music, storytelling, and a spirit of community in Detroit’s most intimate and historic jazz venue.
