Networking at Night for Authors with Editor Stephanie Steinberg

Detroit Writing Room founder and book editor Stephanie Steinberg will share what to consider before you start writing a book. During an interactive presentation, she’ll break down how to prep your manuscript and polish it for publication. She’ll also cover the various types of editors from developmental editors to copy editors and their role in enhancing your manuscript. Then we’ll open the floor for Q and A and real conversation. Each guest will receive one 5-ounce pour of Michigan wine or a mocktail. Guests will be entered in a raffle to win a copy of the 2025 edition of “Detroit Voices,” releasing on Dec. 8 as well as Stephanie’s book “In the Name of Editorial Freedom.” Guests are encouraged to bring writing materials for brief writing activities. Each guest receives one 5 ounce pour of Michigan wine or a mocktail.
