The Boy Scouts of America's Great Lakes Field Service Council will host the 2019 IMPACT Breakfast on Wednesday, March 27th, 2019. You are invited to participate in a panel discussion titled, 'What's the Future of Detroit's Workforce. It will be held at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, Detroit Branch 1600 East Warren Avenue, Detroit, MI 48207, beginning at 7:30 AM and ending at 9:00 AM (Doors open at 7:00 AM). The purpose of the IMPACT Breakfast is to recruit new partners for the Workforce Exploring programs of the Boy Scouts of America. The program will showcase a panel discussion with key leaders from the areas of education, business, labor and government, addressing the future of Detroit's workforce and how early workforce programs are important for Metro Detroit's youth. This event is free and open to the public. Moderating this event will be WXYZ's Carolyn Clifford, Reporter and Anchor for Channel 7 Action News, with panelist Rory Gamble, Vice President of the United Auto Workers; Portia Roberson, Chief Executive Officer of FOCUS: HOPE; Dr. Nikolai Vitti, DPSCD Superintendent and Sandy Baruah, President of the Detroit Regional Chamber.Please join us to learn how you can partner with us to ensure a positive future for our young people in Metro Detroit.BREAKFAST WILL BE SERVED, PLEASE RSVP AS SPACE IS LIMITED
