Gleaners Summer Food Service Program-Site Coordinator Training 2019
We are very excited for this summer's Meet Up and Eat Up experience!
All sites participating in Gleaners' Summer Food Service Program in 2019 must send at least 2 staff or volunteers to a site training. All sites must be trained before meal service can begin. Training attendance is mandatory for participation in the summer meal program.
We are currently offering 3 different training dates before the program begins:
Monday, June 3 from 2:00-4:00 PM
Tuesday, June 4 from 9:00-11:00 AM
Thursday, June 13 from 2:00-4:00 PM
To RSVP for one of the three sessions, you will "purchase" the number of tickets that corresponds to the number of people that will be attending from your site on a given date. Tickets are free, but space is limited, which is why we have chosen this method of RSVP. Please include the name of your organization/school next to your name.
Trainings will be held at Gleaners Community Food Bank located at 2131 Beaufait St. Detroit, MI 48207. There is parking across the street from the building. Enter through the green doors, and the training will take place on the second floor in our Kids Helping Kids room. Please arrive 15 minutes early so you can find parking, register and find seating.
