Please join us for a special screening of the Emmy and Peabody-award winning film The White House Effect A riveting look at a key moment in the history of the climate crisis from award-winning directors Bonni Cohen, Pedro Kos and Jon Shenk that travels back in time to document how a crucial opportunity to take real action on global warming was not just squandered but deliberately undermined.Post-screening, there will host an intergenerational talkback discussion with climate and environmental justice advocates Ayanna-Grace King (The Urban Lorax), Boratha Tan (Vote Solar), Ela Khasnabis Upton (University of Michigan), Janice D. Hazel (Low-Income Solar Council)  and Robert Shobe (Justice for Beniteau). We’ll reflect on wisdom from past struggles and what we need to do in this current moment.
