Are you a Scout looking to earn your fishing badge or learn to fish? This is the program for you! We will start the program by learning about some of the fish that call the Detroit River home. Next, practice how to safely handle fishing equipment and then go fishing at Milliken State Park and Harbor. All equipment and bait will be provided to registered Scouts. Registered Scouts will earn an Outdoor Adventure Center Scout patch.  
 
Participants must be age 8 or older. 
This is not a drop-off program.  
You must purchase a fishing license (available at Michigan.gov/DNRLicenses) if you are 17 years of age or older to fish. Participants under the age of 17 may fish without a license.

This is an outdoor event held rain or shine; please dress for the weather. 
This program is subject to cancellation if minimum attendance is not met.  
 
Preregistration is required for Scouts. Cost is $10 per Scout.
