Participants will enjoy singing and soaking as we tune in to ourselves, the land, and each other, connecting with what emerges and singing our hearts out! We'll share songs in the oral tradition without any sheet music and you don’t need any singing experience to join us. The singing voice is a powerful tool to open the heart, quiet the mind, and connect us to our Soul. Payment Plans: Breitenbush offers installment payment plans on registrations for this event. At the bottom of our registration form, you may select an option to pay 25% of your total balance and split the remaining balance equally across monthly payments leading up to the event. About the Leaders Karly Loveling Karly Loveling is whole-hearted lover of life who weaves song into being and brings harmonies to life. She is a member of the Ubuntu Choir Network, leading Singing Heart Harmonies in Chanchifin (Eugene, Or), online, and at Community Singing gatherings, as well as feeling and tending the spectrum of human emotion with courage and care in community connections, classes, and events. Karly’s often playful, layered, polyphonic songs honor the whole joyous, messy, confusing, ecstatic, and heart-wrenching experience of being a human. Her songs are close companions for singers and songleaders from Appalachia to Ireland. She brings a joyful, soulful presence to group singing, and believes deeply in its transformative power as a tool for empowerment, connection, and healing. Since 2017, Kira has been leading a cappella group singing, and she currently directs Voices Rising Community Choir in Bend, Oregon, offering experiential singing that fosters interconnection, depth, and joy. Kira is a student of Lisa Littlebird’s Songleader Flight School (2020) and a graduate of the Community Choir Leadership Training (2023). She has been a featured songleader at festivals around the country, including the Oregon Country Fair. Debbie Nargi-Brown Debbie Nargi-Brown, M.Ed, is a gifted community song leader, an award-winning dance teacher, and a talented songwriter. She offers her songs with love, compassion, and the hope of bringing joy and healing to others. Debbie’s lyrics and melodies are sung all over the world.
