Q: What is the Black History Month Legacy Gala?
A: The Annual Legacy Gala is an elegant evening of music, theatre, and dance presented by STAAND. It is a celebration of Black achievement, creativity, and cultural legacy.

Q: What is the purpose of the Legacy Gala?
A: The gala recognizes Black history and artistic excellence while uplifting and supporting local nonprofit organizations. It also serves as a space to gather, connect, and celebrate culture in an inspiring and elevated atmosphere.

Q: When is the Black History Month Legacy Gala?
A: Saturday, February 28, beginning at 7:00 pm.

Q: How is the evening structured?

7:00 pm Cocktail Reception
8:00 pm Theatrical Performance
After Glow Celebration immediately following

Q: What is the dress code?
A: Cocktail attire with an urban chic aesthetic. Guests are encouraged to dress with intention and style befitting a legacy celebration.

Q: How much are tickets?
A:
Early Bird tickets available: $75 Evening Access until Saturday, January 31st: $100 Evening Access until Saturday, February 21st.

Q: Will tickets be available at the door?
A: No. This event is expected to sell out in advance, and tickets will not be available at the door.

Q: Where do the proceeds go?
A: Proceeds benefit local nonprofit organizations that serve and uplift our surrounding communities.

A: The gala will take place at the Conner Avenue Conference Center, located at 20000 Conner Avenue in Detroit, Michigan.
