This class is designed for those that have taken Corinna's beginner basket class or have weaving experience. Join local basket weaver Corinna in this class to learn new designs and techniques creating one of a kind baskets using locally harvested pine needles, which are much shorter than the more familiar long needle pines that grow in the south. Starting with a leather base you will work with pine needles and a basic stitch to form a basket with a distinct spiral pattern inside and out. Samples of pine needle baskets featuring other stitches and
information on how to gather, store, and dye materials will also be discussed.
