1. One entry per person.
2. Pumpkins must be appropriate and child friendly. We reserve the right to reject any entries.
3. Please DO NOT carve pumpkins, as they do not stand up to the heat. Participants can draw or paint on the pumpkin, and pin or glue materials to it.
4. Pumpkin display must not exceed 25 lbs. 
5. Please limit display to a single pumpkin. 
6. Do not write or display your name on the entry. All entries will receive an identification number. 

To Enter:
• Drop off pumpkins on Saturday, October 25th between 8:00am – 9:00am at the River Region Master Gardener booth at the German Coast Farmer’s Market located at St. Charles Parish East Regional Library in Destrehan (160 W. Campus Dr.).
• Pumpkins entered into the St. Charles Parish 4-H pumpkin decorating contest will  be automatically entered into the Parish-wide contest. 

To Win:
• Farmer’s Market patrons will be invited to vote for their favorite pumpkin in each division between 9:00 am - 11:30am. 
• Prizes will be awarded to the top three most voted for pumpkins in each division. Winners will be notified following the contest. 
Entry Pickup and Donation:
• Pick up your pumpkin between 11:30am - 12:00pm. 
• Pumpkins not picked up by 12:00pm will be donated to Ormond Nursing & Care Center.
