Discover the holiday’s origins, explore its seven guiding principles, and learn the meaning behind its symbols. Enjoy an inspiring program filled with music, poetry, and the beauty of Kiswahili.

Elizabeth Kahura, a Kenyan native, has been in the United States since 1995. As a storyteller, musician, and teacher, Elizabeth educates and entertains audiences through folklore, music, language and creative arts.
