Equipment:You will only need to bring a large mixing bowl and a clean kitchen towel with you. I do highly encourage that you have a Dutch oven to bake your loaf of dough in after class and for future baking, but you do not need to bring the DO to class. I also highly recommend you have a digital scale at home for future baking for best success. We will discuss some other tools that can be nice to have, but are optional. Additionally, proofing baskets, bread lames, bread bags and bowl covers will be available to purchase from a couple of my favorite Iowa small businesses.
