Volunteers play a crucial role at the MaST Center Aquarium. Projects throughout the facility are made possible because of their dedication and support. Volunteers help enhance the local community through education and environmental awareness, while working to accomplish our goals of research, education and general improvement of the Puget Sound.
Information about volunteering:
- Volunteers DO NOT need experience to join any of our teams.
- Individuals must be 10+ years old to participate. Volunteers 10-13 years old must have a guardian volunteer with them.
- ALL prospective volunteers must attend a New Volunteer Orientation before starting.
- All training will be offered at the MaST.
New Volunteer Orientations are held every 3rd Saturday of the month. During orientations, volunteers learn about the different volunteer opportunities at the MaST Center Aquarium and how to get involved. You will also receive a guided tour of the facility and learn more about our online volunteer scheduling system.
